Question Cross platform live video capture & display with Qt 4

    Hey,

Can some Qt expert please advise me if there exist public Qt examples showing how to capture (ie. save to disk) and simultaneously display live video from USB cameras or from cameras connected to framegrabber boards, both in Windows (XP) and in Linux?

    Any hint will be appreciated.

    Thx,

    Sounds like you need Phonon:
    http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonon_%28KDE%29
    http://phonon.kde.org/
    http://chaos.troll.no/~ahanssen/devd..._Framework.pdf

Phonon is the Multimedia Framework developed by KDE in cooperation with Trolltech. It'll be part of Qt 4.4 (hopefully)

Hope this helps - good luck

    Tom
