Library problems

Hi everybody,

I have a problem, I'm developing a program on the mac.
But I have 2 macs 1 for developing en 1 normal. On the developers mac everything just works fine. But on the 'normal' mac not.

This is the error message:

Library not loaded: /usr/local/mysql/lib/libmysqlclient.15.dylib
Referenced from: ***
Reason: image not found

I did compile with qt with mysql.

Maybe you forgot to copy mysql plugin. No idea how to do on Mac. Try reading this.

I don't have a Mac, so I'm not sure, but docs say:

Your application may also depend on one or more Qt plugins, such as the JPEG image format plugin or a SQL driver plugin. Be sure to distribute any Qt plugins that you need with your application.

The search path for Qt plugins (as well as a few other paths) is hard-coded into the QtCore library. By default, the first plugin search path will be hard-coded as /path/to/Qt/plugins.

The only thing I did was running the qmake -spec macx-xcode (I wanted to try developing QT in xcode) I builded the project, it failed. I made some changes to the build settings (http://qtnode.net/wiki?title=Main_Page and ran a qmake -spec xmac-xcode because I was busy to exclude the sql libraries and the first time I ran the qmake -spec xmac-xcode I didn't have the QT += sql declared but now I did so I needed to refresh my xcodeproj file.

After I did that I builded the project successful (in xcode) and saw the program, but without the sql data, so I thought what if I ran a make command in the terminal and that was the last thing I did no errors but the program won't run.

I fixed it, I don't exactly know what it was, but probably something with open -a program name command. Maybe it did open an older version. But any way thanks for the help
