Question Can we invoke other lang. scripts through QT

Currently i have decided to switch on Qt 4.0 for fundoo GUI .The problem I'm facing is that i'm not sure whether the programs/scripts from C,Java,Pearl and python will be excecuted through Qt GUI or not..I want to make standalone application having QT gui and in back end various lang. scripts will be running. The user manual does not indicate it clearly. ANy idea

If you have a script interpreter (be it embedded into the application or ran as a separate process) the scripts will be executed.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.
