soft brush effect

Hi.

How do you create a soft brush effect like those you see in popular paint software such as photoshop? I tried using painter.drawEllipse with gradient. But there are problem, the edges of the ellipse (ie. the outline) is always visible. How do you remove it? Anyone has experience with soft brush effect creation?

Set the painters pen to Qt::NoPen before you paint the ellipse.
