Default Re: QMAKE FLAGS in qmake.conf for solaris-cc-64 uses old flags

gmake.conf of solaris-cc-64 uses "-xarch-generic64" instead of "-m64". I use Sun Studio 12.2. Because of this, the qmake is not generating 64bit binaries.

How can I fix this? Should I edit the qmake.conf manually? or override the flags through command line?

    Added after 11 minutes:

    I'm using qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.2 package.
