Writing Plugins for Qt

But plugins for what? For Qt? Or for your application? And which version of Qt?

I mean, I have written some custum widgets like LED, widget styles etc., I want thses to be added to Qt Designer and in to my application as a plugin. I am using Qt 3.3.2 of Fedora Core 2.
