    Does "did not work" mean the IDE doesn't start or what exactly?

    When I install VS-Add-in-1.1.7 on the VS 2010,
    I see this error:



    But the install is a natural with the VS 2008.

    That's V1.1.0, try version V1.1.7 instead.

    Maybe visual studio didn't install correctly, did you try reinstalling it from the media?
